James D. Schiavoni, age 77, of Connellsville, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, April 6, 2011 in C e d a r s H o s p i c e, Monroeville, Pennsylvania.

Family and Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC. at 111 E a s t G r e e n Street, Connellsville, where Prayers of Transition will be said on Saturday, April 9, at 10 a.m.

A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Rita’s Roman Catholic Church, South Second Street, West Side, Connellsville, with Rev. Father Robert Lubic as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Saint Rita’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the Family suggests donations in his memory to National Parkinson Foundation or to the American Heart Association.
