Anna Durkat Krzysiak
Anna Durkat Krzysiak, age 93, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Friday, April 15, 2011 in the Westmore-land Hospital.
She was born January 21, 1917 in Adelaide, Pa., the daughter of the late John Durkat and Helen Dolosak Durkat.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John George Krzysiak on January 25, 1973; brothers and sisters: Helen Nicholson, Mary Durkat, John Durkat Jr., Charles Durkat and Peggy Dykun.
Anna was a member of St. Joseph’s R.C. Church and the Christian Mothers. She loved to read, work on puzzles and was an avid card player. She was a great baker.
She is survived by her loving children: Robert John Krzysiak and wife Connie of Wheeling, West Virginia, Lawrence Mark Krzysiak of Mechanicsburg, Pa., Carol Ann Myers and husband Herbert of Fairchance, Pa and Janet M Shugarts of Greensburg, Pa.; seven grandchildren: Jenna Krzysiak, Amanda Krzysiak, Herbert J. Myers Jr. and wife Lisa, Amy Lynn Miner and husband Keith, Rachel Elizabeth Shugarts, Adam J. Shugarts, Laura Marie Shugarts; great granddaughter, Marley Ann Miner; sisters: Catherine Lynn of Ohio and Ester Logsdon and husband James of Holly, New York; several loving nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Friends will be received at the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa. on Monday, April 18, 2011 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm Tuesday morning until 9:30 am when Parting Prayers will be said followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Father Ronald L. Simboli as Celebrant
Interment follows at St. Joseph’s Church Cemetery, Hopwood, Pa.
