Clyde J. Burnsworth
Clyde J. Burnsworth, age 78, of Confluence, Pennsylvania passed away Saturday, April 16, 2011 in the Uniontown Hospital.
He was born on Tuesday, October 25, 1932 at Maple Summit Pennsylvania son of Clyde Burnsworth and Myrtle (Burnworth) Burnsworth.
Clyde was a retired Park Ranger with Ohiopyle State Park.
He was a United States Army veteran of Korean War.
Clyde was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He found comfort in his belief of Jesus Christ, our Savior, and in His teachings in the Bible.
He was predeceased by his parents; son, Alan Burnsworth; and three sisters, Ruth McVey, Jessie Nicholson and Juanita Stonebraker.
Surviving are his wife, Anneliese Weber Burnsworth; three children: Andrea Judge and husband Michael of West End, North Carolina, Clyde H. Burnsworth and wife Barbara of Oswego, New York and Roger Burnsworth and wife Kimberly of Farmington, Pennsylvania; grandchildren: Christopher Judge, Anna Judge, William Judge, Alan Burnsworth and wife Kyndra, Amy Burnsworth and Andrew Burnsworth; two great grandchildren: Skyler and Damien Burnsworth; one brother, Manuel Burnsworth and wife Betty of Confluence; and two sisters: Wilma Faye Ravenscraft of Rockwood, Pennsylvania, Yvonne Capaldi of Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD F U N E R A L H O M E, FARMINGTON, Pennsylvania today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, April 20, 2011 until 11 a.m., the hour of the Service.
Interment follows in Sands Cemetery, Maple Summit.
