Mary Ann (Fabbri) Mojock
Mary Ann (Fabbri) Mojock, 89, Masontown, Pennsylvania d i e d o n Saturday, April 23, 2011 in the Uniontown Hospital.
She was born on Thursday, September 29, 1921 the daughter of Teopisto Fabbri and Dusola (Bandini) Fabbri in Masontown, Pennsylvania.
Mary was a member of All Saints Roman Catholic Church and also The Confraternity of Christian Mothers.
She graduated from the now former All Saints High School.
Mary was also a member of the Italian Ladies Circle.
She was also a volunteer at All Saints School.
Mary owned and operated Mojock’s Corner Restaurant in Masontown until 1979. She was a very, very good cook and proud of the recognition, ‘Greatest Ravioli Maker’, awarded to her by the Most Reverend Bishop J o h n J. W r i g h t of P i t t s b u r g h, Pennsylvania, now deceased.
Mary had a passion for crossword puzzles and taking trips to casinos w i t h h e r family, who lovingly knew her as ‘Mom’ and ‘Nonnie’.
She led a very happy life, greatly enjoying her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was the last member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles A. Mojock in 1970; brothers, Louis Fabbri and Monsignor Joseph Fabbri; and a sister, Sr. Carmelina Fabbri.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: D a v i d T. Mojock and his wife Colleen of New Castle, Pennsylvania, Mary Anne Marian and her husband Joseph of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, J o s e p h i n e Ziglear of Morgantown, West Virginia and C h a r l e s R. Mojock and his wife Catherine of Mount Dora, Florida; twelve grandchildren: David, Angela, Todd, Eric, Joey, Marissa, Michele, Melanie, Anthony, Christopher, Matthew and Jonathan; thirteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., 515 North Main Street, Masontown, Pennsylvania on today (Monday, April 25, 2011) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and o n T u e s d a y, April 26, 2011 until 10:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. in All Saints Roman Catholic Church, 101 South Washington Street, Masontown, with the Reverend Father John Bauer as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in S a i n t A g n e s Cemetery, Leckrone, Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Mary’s memory to All Saints School, Masontown, PA 15461.
The Parish Rosary will be recited in the Funeral Home this evening at 6:30 p.m.
