Ralph Harold McCoy, 85, of Revere, PA died Monday, April 25, 2011 at his residence.

He was born September 10, 1925 in Revere.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Jerry McCoy and Helen Winkle McCoy, six brothers, Edward, William, Earl, Walter, Melvin and Jerry McCoy and a sister, Genevieve Rhodes.

Surviving are his loving wife, Wilma Jean Lehman McCoy; a daughter, Diane Friend and husband, John of Revere; a brother, Robert McCoy and wife, Margaret of Balsinger, PA and a sister, Helen Sisko of Masontown, PA.

Ralph was a veteran of WWII having served Honorably with the US Navy for two years in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. He had been a former salesman for Gallatin Plumbing Supply, retiring in 1988 and was a member of the Revere Free Methodist Church, American Legion Post 51 Uniontown, PA and the NRA.

Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME 164 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA this evening from 7 to 9 PM, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and on Friday until 11 AM, the hour of service with Pastor Dale Sickles officiating.

Interment will follow in the Jacobs’ Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery Masontown, PA.

Military Honors will be accorded graveside by AMVETS General Marshall Post 103 Hopwood, PA.
