The California Area Historical Society and the California Area School District foundation announce the winners of the first annual “Art From The Garden” photography contest.

Awarded prizes in the adult category were: First place, Bill Rockwell, Brownsville; second place, Carol Horvath, Brownsville; third place, Christine Haines, Isabella. In the category ages 13-18:

First place, Emily Harger, Monongahela; second place, Megan Heverley, California; third place, Megan Heverley, California. In the category ages 12 and under: First place, Rebecca Staley, Brownsville; second place, Aiden Poach, Morgantown, W.Va.; third place, Rebecca Staley, Brownsville.
