A Cumberland Township man is behind bars after police allege he lured a runaway child into his mobile home and concealed her from her family and authorities in late July.

Cumberland Township police said Leeland Barnhart, 35, of 47 Brodak’s Mobile Home Park was charged before Magisterial District Judge Glenn Bates with concealing the whereabouts of a child, interfering with the custody of a minor and luring a child into a structure.

Police said the charges were filed against Barnhart after police discovered the 15-year-old girl inside Barnhart’s mobile home a few days after she had been reported missing by her family July 25.
