Fayette County men to stand trial in alleged home invasion

By Josh Krysak heraldstandard.Com 1 min read

Two Fayette County men accused of using a gun and baseball bat to threaten people inside a Fairchance home June 21 and then stealing items from the residence will have their days in court.

State police Sgt. Greg Keefer Allen Richard Myers, 23, of Fairchance and Daniel William Poole, 24, no address available, were each charged with robbery, burglary, conspiracy to commit robbery, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person and simple assault.

Both men waived the charges against them to Fayette County Court during a preliminary hearing in mid-July.

Trooper Craig Soltis said the charges were filed after Myers and Poole allegedly entered a home at 314 Sheldon Ave. and confronted Daniel and Rebecca Schroyer and their nephew Jacob Koskoski, who were inside the residence.
