Philip Edward Nearing ‘Phil’, 80, of Jefferson Hills, Pa. and formerly of Belle Vernon, Pa. passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at his home.

Friends will be received in SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street Brownsville, PA 15417 today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, August 6 where a blessing service will be held in the funeral home at 10 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Micah E. Kozoil officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery.

A Wake Service will be held in the funeral home today at 2:30 p.m.
