Police probe shots fired into Uniontown residence

Uniontown police said they are investigating after someone fired a single large-caliber round into an occupied home in Uniontown early today.

Officer Jennifer Field said the incident occurred sometime after 1 a.m. at a residence at 85 Dunlap St.

Deshaene Douglas told police that she went to sleep after 1 a.m. and when she awoke she found the bullet hole in her daughter’s bedroom, Field said, noting that Douglas’s daughter was not in the room overnight.
