Cornelia (Jeter) Mclee
Cornelia (Jeter) McLee, age 77, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 24, 2011 in Chicago, Ilinois.
She was born to the late James and Ellen Jeter on February 20, 1934 in Connellsville, Pennsylvania.
Cornelia was a dedicated employee of the United States Postal Service for over 30 years. Also, a devoted member of the Jeffery Valley Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Chicago, Illinois for over 25 years.
Cornelia was preceded in death by her husband Donald D. McLee, son, Donald ‘Brother’ McLee Jr., sister Cora Jeter and brother Albert Jeter.
Left to honor her memory are her children: Donna McLee, Janice McLee, Rodney (Vickie) McLee, and Joseph McLee, all of Chicago, Illinois; Siblings: Alberta (Thomas) Hayes of Chicago, Annie Smith of California, Nettie Jeter Jasper of Chicago and Russell Jeter of Pennsylvania; Ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren; Brother and Sister-in-law Richard (Helen) McLee, Front Royal, Va.; Sister-in-Law,Lavada McLee,Brother-in-Law, Charles McLee, both of Uniontown, Pa.; A Special Friend and cousin, Romaine Curry and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins who simply adored her.
Family, friends, and others whose lives she touched are invited to reminisce, reflect and of course just chat on Saturday, August 6, 2011 from 10-10:30 a.m. at KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME.
Interment will follow immediately at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
Repast immediately following interment at VFW Post No. 3514, East Main Street, Uniontown, Pa.
