Bettie F. (Compton) Guill
Bettie F. (Compton) Guill, 88, Masontown, Pennsylvania and formerly of Roxboro, N o r t h Carolina passed away peacefully on Friday, August 5, 2011 in Cloverdale Personal Care Home, Masontown, w i t h h e r family at her side.
Bettie was born Wednesday, December 20, 1922 in Fairfax, V i r g i n i a the daughter of William R. Compton and Bettie M. (Hatfield) Compton.
Bettie was a Homemaker throughout her life.
She was a member of the Oak Grove Methodist Church in Roxboro, North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank Guill Jr.; four brothers and three sisters.
Left to cherish her memories are her children: J a m e s Franklin, Betsy Kopacko and husband Kenny, Robert W. Franklin and wife Avis, and Carolyn D. Gutherie and her husband Larry; nine grandchildren: James Jr., Michele, Tammy, Sonia, Paul, Yvette, Brandy, Kimberly and Larry; eleven great grandchildren; and a close friend, Mary Duck.
Arrangements are Private as to Bettie’s wishes and under direction of HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., 515 North Main S t r e e t, Masontown, Pennsylvania.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later time.
