William Thomas Lilley

William Thomas Lilley, 66, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania and formerly of Oliphant Furnace, died on Thursday, August 4, 2011 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, w i t h h i s loving family by his side.
He was born on Tuesday, July 15, 1945 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania the son of William T. “Red” Lilley Sr. and Helen David Lilley McCoy
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps who served during the Vietnam War and a Lifetime Member of General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 in Hopwood, Pennsylvania.
‘Bill’ was employed with Brad Regan Inc. for 22 years until his retirement.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his first wife, Pearl; son, David; brother, Donald Lilley; granddaughter, Chelsea; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Left to cherish his memory are his children: Michelle Myers and husband George with whom he made his home with at Wynn, Pennsylvania, William Hibbard and Michelle Volek of Oliphant Furnace, Pennsylvania and Tammy McCourt and husband Virgil of Smithfield, Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren: George and Ashley Myers, Heather and Jennie Hibbard, Jim and Faith McCourt and Bud and Traci Hibbard; three great grandchildren: R i c h a r d, Keimauri and Melaki; brothers Jerry David and Dena, Robert Lilley and wife Betty, Marty Lilley all of Oliphant Furnace and James Lilley of Rockville, Maryland; sisters: Bea Glover and husband Jerry of Hopwood, Pennsylvania, Delores Smallwood and her husband Robert of Annandale, Virginia, Pauline Lilley of Uniontown, Marsha Reese and her husband Herb of York Run, Pennsylvania, Barbara Kalamets and husband Joseph of Shoaf, Pennsylvania and Kathy Bedson and husband Lance of Lexington, Kentucky.
William was loved by all and will be missed by all!
Family will receive Friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pennsylvania today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday, August 8, 2011 until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with Pastor Tom Barnhart officiating.
Interment will follow in Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Chalk Hill, Pennsylvania where Military Rites will be accorded by the General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 of Hopwood.
Visitation was also held on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.
