Police seek man caught on video stealing family pet

State police are searching for a man accused of stealing a family pet from a North Union Township residence July 26.

Trooper Patrick R. Biddle said the theft occurred around 8:30 p.m. at the home of Jason Henderson.

According to Biddle, the suspect arrived at Henderson’s home on Rolling Hills Estates Road, walked to a large outdoor pen and removed Henderson’s dog, Creed.

The man then put the dog into his vehicle and fled the scene west on Rolling Hills Estate Road.

The suspect is described as a tall, white man. He was wearing shorts, a t-shirt, tennis shoes and a backwards baseball cap at the time of the theft.

Biddle said the suspect arrived and left Henderson’s residence in a blue sport-utility vehicle.

Anyone with information regarding the theft or the identity of the suspect is asked to call police at 724-439-7111.
