Paul Garbutt, Sr.
Paul Garbutt, Sr., age 52, of Smock passed away Monday, August 8, 2011 in his home.
He was born February 22, 1959 in Uniontown, son of Genevieve Grote Garbutt of Buffington and the late John C. ‘Jack’ Garbutt.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Garbutt.
Paul was a member of Pechin Chapel Evangelical Church of Dunbar, an employee of Alpha Resources at Emerald Mine, a member of UMWA District 2, Local 2258 and a member of Fairbank Rod & Gun Club. He was a member of Fayette Traveling Softball League with Allison and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Angie Holp Garbutt; his children: Paul Garbutt, Jr. and fiancee’, Amanda Grashion of Fairbank, Adrian Fornili and husband, Cale of New Salem, Robert Quairiere, Jr. and wife, Tori of Uniontown, Laura Garbutt and fiance’, David Miller of Uniontown and Orion Garbutt at home; seven grandchildren: Vanessa, Aden, Logan, Stevie, Adriana, Dominico and Jude; sister and brothers: Debra Wargo and husband, Timothy of Fairbank, Jack Garbutt and wife, Beverly of Thompson 1, Matt Garbutt and wife, Lisa of New Salem and Mark Garbutt of Buffington.
Friends will be received in DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 from 2 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, August 11, 2011 until 11 a.m., the hour of service with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.
