Carol J. Sowden Perkins, 79, of Clarksville, died Sunday, August 7, 2011 in Atlanta, GA.

Surviving are a son, John Sowden; two daughters, Lois Brichetti and Janet Vinnenberg; 10 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Audrey Lorence and a brother, Donald Knepp.

Friends will be received on Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 1 to 2 p.m., the hour of a memorial service in the BEHM FUNERAL HOMES, INC., Jefferson.
