Uniontown police are searching for a Uniontown teenager wanted for attempted homicide following an armed robbery in early July.

Uniontown police Officer Jamie Holland said he secured a warrant for the arrest of Demond Wiggan, 17, of 49 Lenox St. on charges including criminal attempt homicide, three counts of robbery, two counts of aggravated assault, simple assault, receiving stolen property and possession of a firearm by a minor.

The warrant was issued by Magisterial District Judge Michael M. Metros.

According to Holland, the warrant was secured by police following an incident at the home of Joseph Pullem of 20 Millview St., Uniontown.

Holland said that shortly after 9 p.m. July 3 Wiggan, also known as “O,” showed up at Pullem’s home and approached Pullem while he was on the porch.
