PennDOt to close Amend Road for a week

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 announced a temporary closure and detour of Amend Road in Georges Township between 8 a.m. Aug. 16 at and 3 p.m. Aug. 23.

The section of Amend Road that will be closed is between Ball Diamond Road and Walnut Hill Road. The closure and detour are necessary so that a 48-inch pipe can be replaced.

The marked detour uses Ball Diamond Road, Walnut Hill Road and Amend Road.
