Bud Murphy’s takes 3-2 series lead

BULLSKIN TWP. – Bud Murphy’s and Belmont Inn went eight innings for the fourth time in five playoff games on Friday before Mike Hermann’s bases-loaded single gave Bud’s a 2-1 win and a three games to two lead in the Fayette County Baseball League’s championship series.

Game 6 is scheduled for 5:45 p.m. Sunday at Hutchinson. Game 7, if necessary, would then be played at 5:45 p.m. Monday at Bud Murphy’s Breakneck Field.
