Jack W. Rohland Sr., R.Ph.
Jack W. Rohland Sr., R.Ph., age 66, of Buffalo Township, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 while in the company of family.
He was born Friday, December 22, 1944 in Brownsville, Pennsylvania, the son of Clyde ‘Jack’ Rohland and Edna (Guseman) Rohland.
After graduating from Brownsville High School in 1962, Jack went on to attend the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy where he graduated in 1967. Jack was a member of the Kappa Psi Pharmacy Fraternity and also the Pitt Marching Band.
Jack worked as a Pharmacist at Thrift Drug (Tarentum), Rite Aid (Natrona Heights) and Giant Eagle (Sarver).
He enjoyed helping people, golfing and spending time with his family.
Jack was preceded in death by his father, Clyde ‘Jack’ Rohland; and a brother-in-law, Donald T. Gibbon.
He is survived by his mother Edna Rohland of Brownsville; his beloved wife of 44 years, Jeanne (Gesko) Rohland; son, Jack W. (Vicki) Rohland Jr. of Penn Township, Pennsylvania; daughter, Jill (Jeffrey) Lesko of Buffalo Township; five grandchildren: Zach Rohland, Josh Rohland, Riley Rohland Allison Lesko, Mario Lesko; sister, B a r b a r a (Robert) Rhoades of Newville, Pennsylvania; sister, E. Joyce Gibbon of Leechburg, Pennsylvania; brother, L. Kirk (Cheryl) Rohland of Brownsville; sister, D i a n e (Brad) Thompson of Monessen, Pennsylvania; sister-in-law, Sandra (Daniel) Bruckner of College Park, Maryland; a sister-in-law, L i n d a (Paul) Angel of Prince Frederick, Maryland; and many nieces and nephews.
A private family service was held on Saturday, August 6th at DENNIS J. DAUGHERTY FUNERAL HOME, 324 Fourth Street, Freeport, PA 16229.

Rohland Sr. Memorial Scholarship that will be awarded annually to a Freeport Area High School graduate.
