State police: Burglars caught thanks to tip
MORRIS TWP. – Two men are in jail after state police caught them in the process of burglarizing a Greene County house thanks to a tip from a person who noticed suspicious activity occurring at the house.
Sgt. Kevin Kolson, station commander of the state police barracks in Waynesburg, said police caught Eric John Huston, 37, of West Finley and Michael David Jones, 37, of West Alexander burglarizing the house during the early morning hours today.
An area resident called police after driving past the house and noticing lights on in the vacant home and a suspicious van parked in the driveway.
