Edwin Lee Fike
Edwin Lee Fike, age 63, of Markleysburg, Pennsylvania passed away Saturday, August 13, 2011 in his home with his loving Family by his side.
He was born on Saturday, May 22, 1948 in Friendsville, Maryland the son of Robert Fike and Retha Fike.
‘Ed’ was a member of the Markleysburg Union Church.
He graduated from former South Union High School in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
He was a Vietnam Veteran.
‘Ed’ retired from W e s t Penn Power as a L i n e m a n on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 after nearly 30 years service.
His mother is deceased.
He is survived by his father Robert Fike of Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania; his loving wife, Robin Burkholder Fike; two children: Todd A. Fike and Holly A. Fike; a grandchild, Dylan Fike; and two brothers: George Samuel Fike and wife Nancy, Glenville Pennsylvania and Robert ‘Bob’ Fike and wife Denise of Shrewsbury.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD F U N E R A L H O M E, FARMINGTON, Pennsylvania today from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8.
Services will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 11 a.m. in MARKLEYSBURG UNION CHURCH with Rev. Michael Grantz officiating.
Interment will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery, Brandonville, West Virginia.
