1 min read

The Fayette County Airport Authority conducted a variety of business at tonight’s meeting, agreeing to modifications for a fuel truck and voting to hire a company to conduct the airport’s audits.

The board previously awarded a $150,000 contract to a Kansas-based company for a new fuel truck to be used at the Joseph A. Hardy – Connellsville Airport.

Authority members unanimously voted to approve some modifications to the truck that mainly involved safety features and an electronic fuel gauge.

The authority also voted to hire a Uniontown accounting firm to conduct annual audits.
