Expressway ramp to be closed
The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission said it will close the Route 40 west entry ramp from the Mon/Fayette Expressway in Centerville Borough from Thursday through Aug. 31.
While the ramp is closed, motorists will be detoured to the next exit, from there signs will be in place directing traffic to re-enter Route 40 west.
The closure is needed while work crews repave the Route 40 west entry ramp from the Mon/Fayette Expressway southbound lanes.
