Eva E. Priester Romesburg, 99, of Cumming, Georgia and former resident of Uniontown, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, August 19, 2011 in Altus House, Atlanta, Georgia.

She was born Wednesday, October 11, 1911 in Eldred, Pennsylvania the daughter of Adolph Priester and Anna Kuntz Priester.

Eva was a member of Saint John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown and Saint Brendan Catholic Church in Cummin, Georgia.

Eva was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Marrill H. Romesburg in April of 1989; sisters, Marie Skovira Beulah Baldauf; and brothers, Adolph Priester Jr., Victor Priester and Marion Priester.

Surviving are two children: Barbara Panik of Cummin, Georgia with whom she made h e r h o m e a n d S c o t t Romesburg and wife Linda of Uniontown, Pennsylvania; two grandsons: Jeffrey Panik of Atlanta, Georgia and S c o t t Romesburg Jr. of Matthews, North Carolina; four great grandchildren; and niece, Rose Kemets, Acme, Pennsylvania.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, Pennsylvania on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 until 9:30 a.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in Saint John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 50 Jefferson Street, Uniontown, with the Reverend Father Michael J. Crookston as Celebrant

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pennsylvania.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Altus House Hospice, 5411 North Land Drive N.E., Atlanta, GA 30342.
