Loyal Thomas Smith, 75, of Uniontown, Pennsylvania died Thursday, August 18, 2011 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He was born on Wednesday, N o v e m b e r 13, 1935 i n Waverly, Tennessee.
Loyal was former employee of Habitat for Humanity.
Preceding him in death were his parents, William Harrison Smith and Myrtle Elizabeth (Parrot) Smith; a son, Shane Allen Smith in 2005; seven brothers and one sister.
Surviving are two children: Robert Thomas Smith and his wife Emily of South Park, Pennsylvania and Dawn Smith of Connellsville, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren; a sister, Rosetta Vickers of Waverly, Tennessee; special friends Louise Locke and Ray Shaffer and James and Mary Scott and several nieces and nephews all of Uniontown, Pennsylvania
Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL F U N E R A L H O M E, 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pennsylvania on Monday, August 22, 2011 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Services will begin at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
