Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Nellie Barr Shaffer; children: Pamela Burnworth, April Shaffer, Karl Shaffer, Earl Shaffer and Holly Price; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a n d o n e brother, Jack Shaffer.
