Two Fayette County men suffered serious injuries when the all-terrain-vehicle they were traveling on crashed in North Union Township Sunday evening.

State police Trooper Patrick Bouch said the crash occurred when the ATV, operated by William R. Mettts of Uniontown, crashed into another vehicle on Coolspring Road shortly before 7 p.m.

Metts, along with passenger John W. Bendishaw of Lemont Furnace were each flown by medical helicopter to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va. for treatment.
