A Uniontown man accused of burglarizing a neighbor’s home Aug. 11 waived all charges against him to court.

Uniontown police Officer Jamie Holland said Christopher Sammut, 26, was charged before Magisterial District Judge Randy S. Abraham with burglary, theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.

According to Holland, the charges were filed after Sammut broke into his neighbor’s residence at 441 Evans St. Holland said that witnesses watched Sammut commit the burglary.

During a preliminary hearing last week before Magisterial District Judge Michael M. Metros, Sammut waived all charges against him to Fayette County Court.
