Carmella T. Thomas, Our beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend passed on to Glory at her home in Brownsville, Pa. on August 22, 2011.

Her precious heart in-which she had been having difficulties with finally gave-way, but God’s love did not let her suffer any longer and took her home to his place of heavenly rest.

Born on Wednesday, January 30th, 1947, to Alice Moton of Daisytown, Pa who preceded her in death. Her husband, William H. (Snooks) Thomas Jr., son, Brian Keith Thomas, siblings: Robert R. Smith, Valrice Bell Grooms, Erma Hunter, Gloria Robinson and Catherine Chick.

She is survived by her children: Allise C. Akins (Randy), William H. Thomas III (Fiancee Terri MeNeely), Andre Lamont (Paulina), Veronica Nicole (Fiance Eric Salitrik) Xavier Edward; grandchildren: Erica, Marcus, Matthew, Denzel, Melena, Katawna, Billy, Michalla, Keena, Dominick, Mia, Xavier; great-grandchildren: Andre, Brian and Jordon; siblings: Geraldine Hughes, Walter L. Smith, Marcella Pugh, Sylvern Stallsworth (Faye), Claudette Barber, Veronica Jade Smith; sister-in-law, Shirley A. Wall; brothers-in-law: Harold Thomas, Edward Thomas, Boman Thomas, Carl Thomas, Clarence Thomas, James Thomas, Kenneth Thomas and Richard Smith; special addition to the family: The Deans and Blakey’s and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends; special friends: Mary Thomas, Mary Bricker, Barbara Shealey, Sara Becknar and Chaz.

Funeral Services will be held at MT. LEBANON BAPTIST CHURCH, 13 Baltimore Street, Brownsville, Pa 15417 at 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 27th, 2011. Pastor Dr. Herman B. Jackson, Officiating.
