Uniontown teens charged following theft

Two Uniontown teenagers are facing multiple charges after police allege they stole copper and aluminum items from a home in Uniontown this afternoon.

Uniontown police Officer Frederick Kampert said the teens, who are brothers, were each charged in Fayette County Juvenile Court with theft, criminal conspiracy to commit theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.

According to Kampert, the charges were filed after police were summoned to a residence at 8 Byrer Ave. for a report of teenagers stealing aluminum gutters and siding.
