Family moving into Habitat home Monday
The Anderson family will be moving into their new home built by Habitat for Humanity of Fayette County on Monday.
The home at 24 Varndell St. in Uniontown will be blessed at 10 a.m. before the family moves in. The four-bedroom, two-bathroom home can accommodate two family members who are confined to wheelchairs.
The Andersons were evicted from their last home, which they rented, after it was condemned. Eugene Anderson, the husband, died before the home was completed. T
he family still needs non-perishable food and household items.
Anyone wishing to donate should call Habitat at 724-437-4150.
