Uniontown police probe apparent sword attack

By Josh Krysak heraldstandard.Com 1 min read

Uniontown police said they are investigating an apparent domestic dispute that turned into a sword fight in Uniontown Sunday evening.

Officer Michael Bittner said the incident occurred shortly before 8 p.m. at a residence on Cleveland Avenue where police encountered a man covered in blood and learned that a second man had already left the home to go to Uniontown Hospital for treatment of injuries suffered in the altercation.

Bittner said officers learned that one man at the residence had apparently threatened another man with a sword and that a fight then broke out between as many as three men and a woman inside the home.
