By Josh Krysak heraldstandard.Com 1 min read

A Brownsville man is behind bars after police allege he barged into a Redstone Township home and threatened the homeowner with a knife July 23.

Redstone Township police Officer Troy Rice said Franklin Richard Simon, 19, was charged this afternoon before Magisterial District Judge Mike Defino Jr. with robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, simple assault and terroristic threats.

According to Rice, the charges were filed after Simon forced his way into the Fourth Street home of Alan Hurlburt.

Rice said Simon initially asked Hurlburt to use his telephone claiming he had been stranded in the area by some friends.
