A Florida man accused of repeatedly raping and sexually assaulting a boy and girl over a period of six years at three different locations in Fayette County will stand trial.

State police Trooper Sandra Soliday said Scott Alan Kelly, 39, of 9782 Piney Point Circle, Orlando, was charged before Magisterial District Judge Wendy D. Dennis with eight felony counts, including four counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, three counts of aggravated indecent assault and a single felony count of statutory sexual assault. Kelly was also charged with four counts of indecent assault and two counts of corruption of minors.

According to Soliday, the sexual assaults occurred over a six-year period beginning in 1993 at locations in South Union, Henry Clay and Connellsville townships.

Dennis held all charges against Kelly for Fayette County Court following a preliminary hearing Wednesday evening.
