Christmas tree fire
Uniontown Fire Chief Chuck Coldren gives details of a house fire at 73 Lemon St., Uniontown around 11:18 a.m. Sunday morning. Coldren said a Christmas tree caught on fire on the first floor. Uniontown Fire Department Lt. Buck Griffith said because there was minor damage to the first floor, Barbara Leonard and three children will be temporarily displaced. Griffith said no one was hurt and that this was the first Christmas tree fire that the department has dealt with so far this holiday season. The state police fire marshal will be investigating. Uniontown Fire Department, Uniontown Firemen’s Ambulance and the Uniontown Police responded to the fire.
