Timothy W. Stonko
Timothy W. Stonko, 64, of Tower Hill One, Pa., was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 9, 2011.
He was born August 15, 1947 the son of John Stonko and Sophia Besko Stonko.
Timothy graduated from Redstone High School in 1965 and was a Vietnam War veteran.
He attended the Church of God of Prophecy.
Timothy was quite an outdoorsman and loved bird watching, gardening, hunting, and fishing.
Most of all, he loved spending time with family and friends! He will be best remembered for his warm smile and caring nature and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Orville Stonko, Norman Stonko and John ‘Buddy’ Stonko; and sister,Sandra Stonko Capozzoli
Surviving are two sisters with whom he resided: Pauline Stonko and Lois Stonko both of Tower Hill One; sister, Maxine Smith and husband Charles of Burke, Va.; brother, Edward Stonko and wife Barbara of Richmond, Va.; a special nephew, Daniel Capozzoli of Merrittstown, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, 35 South Mill Street, New Salem, Pa., o n M o n d a y, December 12, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 13, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Donna Stinger officiating.
Interment will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
