Renovation of Uniontown’s gymnasium is not completed and has forced postponement of three varsity sports events.

Wednesday’s wrestling match against Connellsville has been rescheduled for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17.

Thursday’s girls basketball game and Friday’s boys basketball game, both against Indiana, have been moved to Indiana’s gym, both to start at 7:30 p.m.

Since Indiana is a section opponent, the schools basically switched home dates. The Lady Raiders and Red Raiders will host Indiana Jan. 19 and 20, respectively.

Renovation work is expected to take about another week to complete.
