The Education Council of the Fayette Chamber of Commerce has honored Emily Densmore, a junior at Laurel Highlands High School, as a student of the month for November 2011.

The daughter of Kenneth and Cathy Densmore of Uniontown, she is undecided which post-secondary school she will attend, but plans to study business/economics.

Densmore is involved in Junior Achievement, science club, Interact club, math club, Spanish club, SADD and Bible club.
