Edward F. Orbash
Edward F. Orbash, age 91, of East Millsboro, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 in Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Pittsburgh, Pa.
He was born March 29, 1920 in Republic, Pa., a son of the late John Orbash and Victoria Boskovich Orbash.
Edward was a member of the Church of the Madonna, Cardale, Pa.
He was retired from US Steel’s Robena Mine, member of UMWA Local 6321, and previously was a Construction worker with Labor Union Local 1058, and had worked at Crucible Steel.
He ran the family farm, and loved doing gardening, planting flowers, landscaping.
He was preceded in death by a son, David E. Orbash, six brothers, Frank, Stanley, Joseph, Clarence, Nelson, and Melvin ‘Carl’ Orbash, brother in law and friend, Walter Nykiel, and his parents.
Surviving are his loving wife of sixty one years, Stella Marie Nykiel Orbash, sons, Bernard F. Orbash and wife, Joanne, of East Millsboro, Jonathan J. Orbash and wife, Susan, of Brownsville, and Mark Alan Orbash, of East Millsboro, daughter in law, Beverly Orbash, of East Millsboro, loving grandchildren, Diane, Amanda, and Justin Orbash, Danielle Keifer, and husband, David, Amy Orbash, Leanna Saghy and husband, William, Stephanie Orbash, and fiancee, Scott Fichter, sisters and brothers, Stella Bindas, of Washington, Pa., Thomas Orbash and wife, Jeannie, of Penncraft, William Orbash, of Merrittstown, George Orbash, and wife, Joan, of Avon Lake, Ohio, Betty Orbash, of Merrittstown, and James Orbash, and wife, Rosalie, of Brownsville, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends were received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME, 19 Legion Street, Republic, Pa., on Friday, from 2 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, until 9:30 a.m. when a P r a y e r Service was held. A Funeral Mass followed at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of the Madonna, with Rev. Fr. James Clark, as Celebrant.
Interment was in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill.
