Guns, coins stolen
Someone broke into Harvey Mountain Sr.’s home on Sproat Road and stole a 12-gauge Winfield shotgun, a .222-caliber/16-gauge shotgun over and under Savage rifle and envelopes, pill bottles and a coin changer filled with change between 5 a.m. Dec. 18 and 5:30 p.m. Dec. 19, state police said.

Dump truck stolen
A red 1995 Chevrolet dual-wheeled dump truck bearing Pennsylvania registration YXC-9129 was stolen from the Dunkard Valley Water Authority on Greensboro Road between 5:30 p.m. Dec. 19 and 5 a.m. Dec. 20, state police said.

A Vizio TV was stolen from Bradley Nicholson’s home on Big Shannon Run Road in Mount Morris between 1 and 4 p.m. Dec. 20, state police said.

Theft from vehicle
Property valued at $225 was stolen from Michael Kitta’s vehicle, which was parked in a driveway on Hill Street between 4 and 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, state police said.

Three-vehicle accident
State police said vehicles driven by Ryan Fears, 22, of Masontown, Maximo B. Ruiz, 49, of Amarillo, Texas and Patrick T. Brienza, 35, of Connellsville were involved in an accident on Route 21 at 6:20 a.m. Fears and Ruiz were taken to Southwest Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.

Truck accident
State police said Evelyn M. Edwards, 68, of Carmichaels suffered minor injuries when the Thomas Built commercial truck she was driving traveled off of Oak Forest Road and came to rest across a stream at 2:52 p.m. Wednesday. She was treated at Southwest Regional Medical Center. The Center Township Volunteer Fire Department and the state Department of Transportation also responded to the accident.
