Uniontown city police and state police were investigating a

shooting Friday evening near the intersection of Dunlap Street and

Searight Avenue in Uniontown Friday evening. Police said one person

was shot in the right shoulder.

Uniontown city police and state police begin investigating into a shooting the left one person shot in the right shoulder Thursday evening, according to police chief Jason Cox. The shooting occurred shortly after 5 p.m. on Dunlap Street in Uniontown.

Uniontown Police Chief Jason Cox said a man was taken to Uniontown Hospital after he was shot once in the upper right shoulder around 5:10 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Dunlap Street and Searight Avenue.

Cox said the man has not yet been identified. State police were on scene and conducting an investigation along with city police. There was no word on the condition of the shooting victim.
