Pearl Griffith
Pearl Griffith, 92 of Uniontown, Pa., formerly of Ronco and Connellsville, Pa., died peacefully Sunday December 25, 2011 surrounded by family and friends at Mount Macrina Manor, a place she proudly called home for 4 years. She was born June 06, 1919 in Merritstown, Pa.
Surviving are a great nephew Jerry Morris of Harrisburg, Pa. whom she considered a son; 2 brothers: Raymond Griffith of Hopwood, Pa. and Delbert Griffith of Uniontown, Pa., and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Andrew J. and Muriel (Sullivan) Griffith and the following brothers and sisters, Eva Ryan, Harold Griffith, Ruby Smith, Virginia Miller, Eva Sickles, Audrey Provance, Wayne Griffith and Jennie Dupont.
Pearl formerly worked as a manager for A&P Super-markets and loved spending time at her cabin in Ohiopyle, Pa. that she had for 50 Years.
A Memorial Service will be held at LaFayette Memorial Park Chapel on Thursday at 12 Noon under the direction of the BERNARD M. TOWNSEND FUNERAL HOME 220 South Main Street Masontown.
