We had steady rain throughout the daylight hours yesterday as the storm moved over us then rain showers changed to snow showers overnight as the storm pulled north and east of us bringing down some very gusty NW winds from Canada.

High yesterday was 41, the low 29, and at 7AM we’re at 29 windy degrees with light snow. The secondary roads will have some icy snow covered spots here in the mountains this morning. We had 1.5 inches of snow with a melted snow and rain total of 1.22 inches.  The temperatures won’t budge much today with the gusty winds and lake effect snow showers continuing, but they shouldn’t amount to very much.  We start to clear out and the winds die down tonight and that will give us a very cold night, but we’ll warm up quickly tomorrow and enjoy a pleasant, sunny afternoon.
