Martha G. Davis
Martha G. Davis, 93 a longtime resident of Dilliner, Pa., died Tuesday, December 27, 2011 in the Hillside Manor Personal Care Home, Uniontown, Pa.
A 1936 graduate of Mapletown High School, she worked for a while at Houze Glass in Point Marion and was the assistant manager and bookkeeper at the Company Store in Moffitt, Dilliner.
Martha was a faithful member for many years and former elder of the Greensboro Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her son, George W. ‘Bill’ Davis and his wife Diane, of Northville, Michigan; three grandchildren ; ten great-grandchildren; and a brother, Herschel Gibson of Point Marion.
Deceased are her husbands, George W. Havanas in 1944, and Robert M. Davis in 1976; a brother, Harry Gibson and a sister, Emma Ewart.
Friends will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, on Friday, December 30, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until noon, the hour of service, with Dr. Bob Randolph officiating.
Interment follows in Greene County Memorial Cemetery, Jefferson.
