Mrs. Martha G. Venturini, age 95 of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Mt. Macrina Manor.

Martha was born in Vistai, Pa. on November 4, 1915, the daughter of Emmitt and Kathryn (Dunseath) Haywood.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William B. Venturini, a daughter Gloria Scarton, five brothers: Emmitt, Joseph, Charles, William and Clifford and three sisters: Elizabeth Jones, Katherine Brewer and Betty Hawk.

She was a member of the Circle Club and was a former Duck Pin National Champion.

She is survived by two daughters: Patricia Fox of Waldorf, Md. and Doris Scarmazzi of Beverdam, Va.; 9 Grandchildren: 19 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Grandchild and a sister Mildred Forte.

Friends will be received in the THOMAS M. DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, 136 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, Pa. (today) Friday, February 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, February 5 from 10 to 11 a.m. at which time a service will be held with Rev. Galen Winebrenner presiding.

Interment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery.

Macrina is sponsored by The Sisters of St. Basil, a Catholic non-profit longterm health care facility which provides holistic and specialized care to adults of all denominations.
