Dumpster burned

German Twp. State police said a Dumpster belonging to Veolia Environmental Services of McClellandtown was caught on fire while located in the parking lot of the German Township municipal building at 2 Long St. between 3 p.m. Jan. 22 and 4 p.m. Jan. 23. South Union Twp. Crash reported

State police said Ashley L. Stull, 27, of Hopwood was not injured when the vehicle she was driving crashed into a fire hydrant off Redstone Furnace Road at 2:01 p.m. Jan. 26.

Dawson Jewelry stolen

Melissa D. Jones, 36, of Dawson reported a 43-year-old woman from Dawson allegedly stole various pieces of jewelry from Jones’ 213 Laughlin St. residence between 3:30 and 8 p.m. Jan. 9, state police said, noting that the 43-year-old woman had been left alone at Jones’ residence when the alleged theft occurred.

Upper Tyrone Twp. Tools stolen

State police said several hand tools belonging to Barry M. Rimeo Jr., 40, of Dawson were stolen from a garage at 197 Hickman Road between Jan. 1 and Jan. 29.

Dunkard Twp. SUV stolen

State police said a 1980 Chevrolet S-10 sport utility vehicle belonging to Stephen Sadecky of Dilliner was stolen from a location on Plant Road, Greene County, between 4:30 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday. Police said SUV is white and blue and the grill and passenger side window missing.

Clarksville Vehicles collide

State police said no one was injured when vehicles driven by Randy D. Perkins, 53, of Clarksville and Ryan L. Dudas, 35, of Waynesburg collided on Center Street, Greene County, at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Franklin Twp. Hit-and-run

State police said vehicles driven by Skye Spalding, 22, of Kearneysville, W.Va., and an unidentified driver crashed on Interstate 79 near mile marker 8 in Greene County at 9 p.m. Thursday. Police said the driver of the second vehicle fled the scene following the crash.

South Union Twp. Pole struck

State police said Lacresha S. Long, 26, of McClellandtown was not injured when the vehicle she was driving crashed into a telephone pole off Derrick Avenue at 11:47 a.m. Jan. 26.
