Casino license vote not in cards
Although the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board will have a meeting this week, once again there will not be a vote on awarding a Category 3 resort casino license.
Doug Harbach, director of communications with the Gaming Control Board, said there would not be a vote at Thursday’s meeting.
While the four public hearings and eligibility and suitability hearings were held last year, including one for Nemacolin Woodlands Resort & Spa in Farmington, the board has not yet been able to reach a majority to award a license.
