Shannon-Seel

Renee Seel of West Point, Va., and Russell Shannon of Quinton, Va., were united in marriage July 10 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Uniontown. The Rev. Paul Frank Jr. officiated the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Martin and Maureen Seel of Uniontown. The bridegroom is the son of Lee R. Shannon of Drumore, and Deborah Shannon of Lititz.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a V-neck halter gown adorned with embroidery and beading with bands of satin, with a chapel-length train. A beaded headband held an elbow-length veil.

Lindsay Sensabaugh was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelley Iezzi, Michelle Hudock, Emily Konter, Jennifer Stottlemyer and Cara Price. Junior bridesmaid was Gina Iezzi. Anna Grace Hudock was the flower girl.

Best man was Chris Cauler. Groomsmen were Louis C. Iezzi Jr., Joel Hudock, Quinston Matyniak, Carl Stottlemyer and Jon Tinker. Louis C. Iezzi III was the junior groomsman. Ring bearer was Vincent Iezzi.

A reception was held at the Uniontown Social Hall.

The bride graduated in 2002 from Brentsville District High School and in 2006 from Shenandoah University. She is a music teacher with the King and Queen Public Schools in Virginia.

The bridegroom graduated from Solanco High School and Goldey-Beacom College. He is a loan negotiator with Bank of America.

Following a honeymoon to Maui, Hawaii, the couple is residing at Firethorn Lane, Quinton.
