Three people sustained minor injuries Friday when an American Ambulance transporting a patient struck a 2005 Ford Explorer along Route 51 in Perryopolis. Paulette M. Heikkila, 44, and Dominick Angelone, 42, were transporting Bernadette Roscoe, 92, to an unspecified location when the ambulance struck the Ford driven by Maria Baughman, 32, of Uniontown. Both vehicles were traveling southbound in the right lane when the accident occurred, said police. Heikkila, Angelone and Baughman were treated at Uniontown Hospital. Roscoe was not injured.
